Comments : The Moldova Embassy folks were wonderful to work with. They communicated completely by email and were very helpful. The only real problem we had was getting police reports from all of the places Nina lived, Turkey, Ukraine and Moldova. I recommend getting these as soon as you can. The rest of the process was pretty straight forward and went without a hitch. I think a key is to ensure all of your papers are complete and in order. Nina's interview lasted only about five minutes! And they didn't ask for any of the papers she had brought with her. We do have a very well documented relationship. I did all of the process myself without any attorney involvement. and can be done by anyone who reads English well and can follow the instructions. I recommend ensuring everything is in the same order requested and include a cover letter.

Comments : It was actually a very smooth and easy process for us. My best advice is to just ensure you've completely filled out everything and put all documents in the same order asked for. It was a 45 min wait followed by a 15 minute interview we did together. The questions were really just validation of the information provided on the I-485, and then we were told we'd know in 30 days. We received the green card the following week.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
