They communicated completely by email and were very helpful. The only real problem we had was getting police reports from all of the places Nina lived, Turkey, Ukraine and Moldova. I recommend getting these as soon as you can. The rest of the process was pretty straight forward and went without a hitch. I think a key is to ensure all of your papers are complete and in order. Nina's interview lasted only about five minutes! And they didn't ask for any of the papers she had brought with her. We do have a very well documented relationship. I did all of the process myself without any attorney involvement. and can be done by anyone who reads English well and can follow the instructions. I recommend ensuring everything is in the same order requested and include a cover letter. Processing Estimates/Stats : Your I-129f was approved in 156 days from your NOA1 date. Your interview took 252 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

My best advice is to just ensure you've completely filled out everything and put all documents in the same order asked for. It was a 45 min wait followed by a 15 minute interview we did together. The questions were really just validation of the information provided on the I-485, and then we were told we'd know in 30 days. We received the green card the following week.
