Consulate Review: Ghana
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : December 2, 2010
Embassy Review : Israel arrived very early 5am and at 7:30 was let in.

First person he submitted I-134 and some other forms were returned to him and submitted the evidence

Went to pay the visa fee- got called to the front of the line with other K-1s (maybe 10 of them). The man was happy with USD because the cedis were being paid with small bills, so it took awhile.

Got called for interview and signed the forms:

Questions asked:
How did you meet Marissa?
What courses we took together? (went off of where we met- university)
What my address was? (Israel gave whole thing and they only wanted the state. lol)
Universities I went to in the states?
Program I am doing?

Also asked if I had told him about Maine- Israel answered its cold there and the CO laughted.

Approved- CO brought out sheet and to come on the 10th!

Said overall experience was good and that the CO and other staff was very nice!

Done by 9:45am!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
