Embassy Review : Ahmed's interview was one year ago, Jan 27,2009. I have not said much about his interview because what the CO said to him is embarrassing to me. I am ready now to talk about it. She asked very few questions and said, "tell me about your fiancee." He began by saying that I am beautiful and that he loves me.

In my opinion, the CO did not speak in a professional manner. The one thing I will never forget, and the most upsetting thing she said to Ahmed was, "your finacee has had too much sex." I have been married more than once and Ahmed accepts that. My last marriage ended in death, a widow now for ten years.

She told him I already had grown children, which again, he knows and accepts. He told her my hobby is to decorate my home. She didn't believe this. He told her that I have liver disease, am tired and stay mostly at home, which is true, I am disabled.

He asked the CO what does she need and what does she want to know. She said, "I have asked you three times to tell about your fiancee and you don't talk about her greatfully."

She looked only at my 2007 taxes, adjusted gross income, and told him I could not support him. I checked financial requirements before I filed the K1 petition and I qualified. She would not look at additional documents/verifications of savings and assets.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
