However, they expedited his visa interview to December 23rd right after his document review. They approved his visa. Questions asked: How did you meet your wife? Where does she live? How many rooms is in her apartment? Where does her parents live? How often does she see her parents? What does she do for a living? What does she do for fun? How many times has she been to Nigeria? Did you pay the bride price? Did you have a traditional wedding? They also looked at the pictures and said your visa is approved. Processing Estimates/Stats : Your I-130 was approved in 404 days from your NOA1 date. Your interview took 959 days from your I-130 NOA1 date.

It took approximately 30 minutes from the time his plane landed to the time I actually saw his face in international arrivals terminal. The CBP officer was very kind and only asked him 1. Who invited you? 2. What is the address? 3. Mentioned to my husband something about the green card being mailed to the address, however, he can still travel internationally if needed (up to a year) until the green card arrive.
