Received our I-212 receipt 4/25/24 with the Texas Service Center, seems to be forwarded to the Missouri Service Center as our receipt begins with MSC. Current timeline for I-212 processing is ~25 months, contacted senators local congress no one can expedite further we are at two months waiting as of now. Hoping to send our passport to Warsaw for visa once I-212 is approved.
Update: 4/4/25 I-212 approved almost one year later. Sent an email to Warsaw Embassy in order to expedite our processing as our updated medical exam expires 4/21/25.
Entry: Once I-212 was approved were told to wait to hear from the embassy to receive next instructions. They didn't need another interview, all of our paperwork was updated and valid. Besides medical exam which we had done again (third time lucky). Dropped off passport the day they asked for it in Warsaw 6/30/25. New system was in place and we must have been one of the first ones to use it, got messed up, fixed, this process is not for the weak. Thanks God and each other for making it through to the other side. God bless America |

Having an approved I-212 flags border patrol to do a secondary interview upon every re-entry into the country. It is standard albeit quite an unfortunate inconvenience, extra hour to get in any time we come back.
They were nice enough although the border feels like they treat us all citizens and visitors like criminals. Could be a little nicer and have the same results, they welcomed my wife after I mentioned no one had congratulated us once during the whole process. ANYWAYS it has been a journey to say the least. |

Embassy Review : |
The interview itself seemed to go smooth, we were initially approved after the interview. We received an email to come back to the embassy the following day, we did and learned we required an I-130 waiver due to immigration history. Our status is now Administrative Review with CEAC until our waiver is approved. |

Timeline Comments: 2Congratulations on your interview date! I hope it all goes smoothly. I had a couple of questions, did you ever submit a k3? Was it difficult for your spouse to get a Schengen Visa for Poland? Is the interview date in Poland hard to find (not readily available) or they have a lot of openings. Thanks!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
