I got my RFE in the mail maybe 4 days after seeing it online. I paid the express and I was told to send it to the California office instead of Texas, which is where I had to send it before. Hopefully that speeds things up.

Lunchbox on 2021-11-17 said:No problem, we're all on the same team! But yes, that is what I use. I got the email for RFE late, and never got the NOA1 email so I just check everyday at lunch time, then again at 5pm wherever the service center is.

They also needed MY birth-abroad certificate that I didn't include in the original packet.

It's definitely outside the normal wait time.
If they don't do anything, you can call your senator too.
That's what I did. They started tracking my case and if it took a week longer they would have filed an inquiry.
