Consulate Review: Chile
Review Topic: General Review
Event Description
Review Date : April 14, 2022
Embassy Review : Medical Exam done on March 28. For immigrant visa is all done electronic by the doctor thefore no physical forms were needed. X-rays and blood work can be done at the same doctor's office and require no preparation. Also I was able to get reimbursed part of the medical expenses through my health insurance (isapre) uploading the receipts and documents online to their website.

Interview was simple, few questions were asked. Fingerprints were taken as well as all the documents required with their translations. Doctor had not uploaded my forms at time of interview so my case was delayed 1 day until she uploaded it. After that it only took 3 days for my passport to be ready at DHL for pickup.

4/5 because doctor requires to book appointment at least 7 days before interview; mine was about 11 and even 8 business days and my forms were not uploaded by the time of my interview. Everything else went very well.
Rating : Good

Congrats, good luck for the rest! Did you epedite, if yes what is the reasons? Did you file i-129F/K3? Did you contact CongressMan office? Thank you so much

Hello, we did not expedite. We filed I-130 Online on February 1, 2021. Then around May/June 2021 we filed I-129F for K3 visa. We didn't contact congressman office either. Then suddenly on September 1st the website updated to actively reviewing and then we got approved that same day.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
