Hi, was there interview dates available?

Hi , the embassy emailed my fiance with the P3 on June 4, 2019. So we are yet to schedule for an appointment. How about you?
blank avatar Tish_Ghana on 2019-06-09 said:
My NOA2 should be approved very soon. So I am not at your point yet. But I was just curious on how long scheduling an interview would take. Do you schedule the interview after Packet 3 is done?
blank avatar Rsanda on 2019-06-09 said:
Ohk, hmm for scheduling an interview you get a slot for the next 2 or 3 months from now. Some folks schedule earlier when it gets to NVC or in transit to the Embassy, others like us waited to get the P3 before. I think any works since it is difficult to find a spot and it mostly depends on whether the embassy is ready to interview the beneficiary. Some also request via email for P3 from the embassy when it shows READY on CEAC. Sometimes they do respond, other times too they do not get a response. Some even go to the interview without receiving the P3 and they approved from what i have read and heard.

Ok, thank you for the information. I hope you are able to get a close interview date.

Thanks and wishing you get your NOA2 approval soon and all the best.

Congratulations, when you look on the CEAC website do you see the words approved or administrative processing just asking we got approved around the same day.Does anyone know what administrative processing is and how long it takes?
blank avatar Rsanda on 2019-08-18 said:
Congratulations too. When i checked CEAC now, it shows ISSUED as at August 14. Waiting for pickup notification. Was on AP since August 9. Had my interview on August 8. AP means further checks are being done. VJers says being in AP is quite ambiguous. Don't worry! Yours is coming. All the best.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
