Amanda880 on 2019-11-21 said:

blank avatar Ashu25 on 2019-11-26 said:

Amanda880 on 2019-11-26 said:
I called to get the case number. They only mentioned sending me an email. He never mentioned a hard copy.
blank avatar Ashu25 on 2019-11-27 said:
Okay, we never get any electronic communications. did you update your email id somewhere?
Amanda880 on 2019-11-27 said:
I havent gotten an email yet. They had my email from the petition. I recommend calling them.
blank avatar Ashu25 on 2019-11-27 said:

Amanda880 on 2019-11-27 said:

Amanda880 on 2019-12-23 said:
Oh thank you so much! We are working on that now. I just hope we dont forget anything lol

Did the consulate really receive your file the very next day from the nvc?
Amanda880 on 2020-01-01 said:
The email from the nvc said sent to the embassy on the 10th and ceac website said recieved on the 11th. The email from the embassy with our interview date was emailed to me on the 18th. So it might be off but not more than a day or two given the timeline. I hope that helps :)
MarwenandEbony on 2020-01-08 said:
Awesome that helps alot. Were 15 days now and still no email. Did the consulate schedule the interview or u did your fiance schedule it
Amanda880 on 2020-01-08 said:
Wow I hope it comes soon. To my surprise the embassy scheduled the interview. It kind of caused a mess for us scrambling to get the medical and ds160 filled out but certainly not complaining. You could try calling the embassy maybe? Also you can check the ceac site to see what staus your case is in.
MarwenandEbony on 2020-01-08 said:
It just says case is ready for interview. But he hasnt received a package yet and i havent received the email yet. Just waiting anxiously. We already got the police report and i thought we couldnt do the medical until we got the packet because dint they tell you which place and dr to see? Were just in limbo were trying to get everything done asap our wedding is scheduled for march. Can we fill out the ds 160 now? Thank u for all of your help
Amanda880 on 2020-01-08 said:
Call them you should have recieved an email. If it's ready the embassy has it. The email the p3 packet with your interview date on it. Its standard I can send a copy of ours. Only 2 locations for medical. Paying the embassy fee is a bit tricky. You can do the DS160 now.
MarwenandEbony on 2020-01-08 said:
Thank you so much. Dont the ds160 ask for the interview date though? Were do u go and get the background check done at?
blank avatar Ashu25 on 2020-01-08 said:
You can fill and submit ds160 Email the ceac support and call them and enquire about packet, tell them About the case ready online status They will respond on email n confirm after follow up The email serves purpose of packet 3/4 Same thing happened to us, till date didn’t receive packet via post
Amanda880 on 2020-01-08 said:
I send you a message with the packet information you'll need. You do not need the interview date to fill out the DS 160 but from the instructions do not pay it online as you will have to pay it in person and get a receipt to take to the interview. I can provide my fiances contact information to help yours know where to go if that helps. Ashu25 our tunis embassy is different. I've provided her instuction specific to our fiances country.

How is the interview ? I hope that you get approved!!
blank avatar Crwilli on 2020-06-22 said:
Hi Amanda did you get a lawyer to help you with anything? It seems like it went very smoothly
Amanda880 on 2020-07-05 said:
Yes, he got approved 😁 hes in the US now. we didn't use a lawyer. We did use rapid visa. It helped a lot with the forms I think. The main thing with Tunisia is a clean record without alot of visa applications or any over stays in the past. All but one of the people he interviewed with got thier K1 issued.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
