Comments : I will share my interview experience in Islamabad Embassy, my interview time is at 8:30am I reached US shuttle service at 7am.There were so many applicants for the Visa Interview waiting in side. I Paid 1000/- for shuttle service at 8 o clock me and all other applicant who have interview at 8 left from shuttle and reached at embassy. stand in Que and then at the main entrance they asked for Visit or immigration. K1 is treated as Immigrant VISA. so they give a token number to me and I went in side the US Embassy with the token number. Then after going inside there is a open air sitting area I have been asked to sit in a Que meaner so I sit over there for 20 more mins and then the security guy asked all the immigrant visa holder to go inside and wait for number .
Inside is a Hug hall with so many counters I again I have sit inside and there is another security guard who asked to sit quite and look on TV screen for our token number then after 20 mins my number called for the first time and I went to the counter the guy took my both thumb and all four fingers Bio metric and give me 2 papers and asked me to sit down and again and wait for number on another counter and after few mins again my number have been called out on different counter and then a guy was standing inside and he asked me for my original Birth certificate, (copy also), sealed medical report, affidavit of support including bank statement and form I-134. Then we took all the documents and asked me if I will give interview in English or Urdu. I told him I am happy in both language . Then my number is called in another counter and there a young man standing he was a nice person asked me all the question mention below.

1, Who is calling you ?
2. How, and when did you met in person ?
3. have you been out side Pakistan ?
4. where does you fiance work ? and at what position ?
5. who is the sponsor ?
6. Is you fiance Divorce ? in my case she was and they asked me the reason also ?

Then he type on the computer and then he wait for some time and looked in to the affidavit of support and told me you need a new Join sponsor and give a white page with 221G. and told me to submit it and took my passport.

All I would like to say it the process is very easy and the people are very friendly no need to get worried and always Trust and be confidant dress up well if your not good in English speak Urdu.

Good Luck !

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
