Consulate Review: Moscow, Russia
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : June 24, 2017
Embassy Review : I had my interview on June 23, 2017 and it went REALLY smooth. The people at the embassy were really nice and professional. I got there at 8:30 and at 8:40 I was already pass the security check. I attended the interview with my fiancee. It took us about 10 minutes to register, go through biometrics and give them all the required documents. After that, we sat down in the waiting room until we were asked to enter the interview room. The interview itself lasted just about 5 minutes. The officer asked us two questions about how and when we met and then told us that our visa was approved and we'd get it in about a week. I was expecting him to ask us for pictures, messages etc. but he didn't. I think it has something to do with that fact that my fiancee was there with me. So, if you cam, you should attend the interview with your fiance/ee, it'll make it a lot faster and easier.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
