POE Date : 2006-06-20 Submit Review
Got EAD Stamp : No
Biometrics Taken : Yes
Harassment Level : 0
Comments : I'm not sure what EAD means... if that's the Green card, I hadn't asked for it.
My POE was Washington D.C. (technically) where I've passed the customs, but then I carried on until San Francisco.

Greencard Received: 2007-07-17
Comments : We only stayed for about 25 minutes with the officer at the USCIS in SF. We were asked very simple questions (what is your current address? where does your husband work? how many times have you been married)
The mingling of finances is definitely something that they are interested in (I forgot to bring these though) + latest pay slips of husband/wife who works.
The only thing is that we're still waiting for the FBI name check.

Comments : USCIS received our filing on May 4th, 2009. They cashed our check on May 13th, 2009 and they sent out the NOA on May 14th (I got it on May 16th).
So it does take them a couple of weeks to start processing the file.
The ASC appt. notice for biometrics is dated 6/16/09, was mailed on 6/18 and I received it 2 days later... 2 months after my filing date! phew! And I'm going to have to reschedule because it's vacation time for me!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
