Consulate Review: Honduras Review Topic: K1 Visa Event Description Review Date : March 18, 2021 Embassy Review : I dont even know where to start. We arrived at 7:15. Our appointment was at 7:30. Now the petitioner is not allowed to enter for interview because of covid. He was the first to be called. It was very empty because they are not processing visas at this time. They said it will take about 4 hours for first time applying for a visa. So I went back with his sister to her house. Around 9:30 we received a call for me to come to the embassy for a interview. I am caucasian. He is Honduran and does not speak English. the lady called me for a interview alone. She wanted to hold the interview in spanish to see if I can speak spanish. Which I am able to speak spanish but not fluent. She eventually let me have the interview in english. she asked me all the same questions my fiance was asked. How we met. Which was through his sister. She wanted to know if his sister connected us together. Our age is 10 years apart. She wanted to know if there was a problem with it she asked when was the first time we had sexual intercourse if it was day or night. she asked what kind of protection I am using. If I wanted more kids. If we had plans for a honeymoon. why I only stay for 2 days at a time. I answered everythhing honestly. she asked if I had met his family. It was a long list of questions that he had been asked also. Then she told me to go wait outside the room with my fiance. Then about 30 minutes later. A man called us to another office. And we see the passport with all his paperwork in front of him. Our first thought was they were returning the passport. But that is when he notified us we were approved. a very nerve wracking experience for me. Rating : Good
