Comments : We went early (1-12-10)for our biometrics. It wasn't busy (a Wednesday at 1:00PM), and they allowed us to do it immediately - 15 min. wait and 5 min. for the process. At the (8-16-2010 interview the interviewer said she was approved, put an I551 stamp in passport (we requested it) and gave us an approval letter. They had separated us for the interview. (Someone had left a tip that it was a fraudulent marriage. They wouldn't say who, but my guess is that it was a bipolar boy that became obsessed with my wife, and when not taking his medicine is capable of some vicious things.) Tips: 1) You should note your wife's pajama tops. I got that wrong. 2) If your husband wears pajamas to bed and then takes them off for the night; say that. I said that I was nude the night before, and she said that I wore pajama bottoms. :( The interviewer asked us about these discrepancies and was satisfied with our reply. :)

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
