Comments : The interview process was rather fast and easy. As long as you have all your documentation in order, there should be no problem. There were only a couple of questions that threw my Fiancee off guard. She was asked how I received my citizenship, I never explained the that part to her. They also asked her a couple of questions about my tax return forms. She had no real answer for either questions, however her reaction was honest and controlled. It seems to me that the interviewer is more concerned with reaction rather than the answers.

I bought our tickets a month ago. Our interview was on Friday, and I bought the tickets for the Saturday of the following week. I was lucky enough to receive the visa the day before, but I would recommend to wait until you have the visa before buying tickets just in case there is a delay. Good luck to everyone working their way through this process, and any questions would be welcomed.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
