*Life interrupts* we have to let our approval expire, despite everything ready to go, expected delay of a few months became years = Long distance long engagement, lots of travel and online adventures. Hardest and most relationship affirming time. Finally January 2019, a spontaneously offered opportunity presents itself, thanks to kindness and love of our families in US and Aus*

Married - 2019-01-11 in US just before I-94 and planned return from visit. Completely unexpected but so grateful.
Good lawyer consulted late Jan/ early Feb and is encouraging to stay and adjust here, considering our situation.

POE Review: Los Angeles
Event Description
Entry Date : 2018-10-16
Embassy Review : Went alright in the end, but lots of questions because this was the first year since 2010 we were able to have multiple visits in one year under ESTA/ VWP. Looked through Chris's phone, still not sure if he went through pictures, text messages, etc. Ultimately let in fine.
Harassment Level : Moderate

Local US CIS Office Review: Reno NV
Review Topic: cis_topic
Event Description
Review Date : November 10, 2019
Embassy Review : The security staff and our IO were great.

1:15 pm appt and we were out about a half hour later.
Asked security and address questions. We brought a folder with a replica of our applications and a few extra photos and examples but he said they weren’t needed and pointing to the large file on the desk said we had submitted more than enough. He just needed to submit one more background check using my husband’s fingerprint scan from the same day and that it should take less than an hour.

While our online approvals only came via text and through egov case status on 11/9, they reflect approved on 11/7, one day after our 11/6 interview.

He said things are much faster in the Reno office than other busier parts of the country. And my husband’s green card would arrive within 2 to 4 weeks.
Harassment Level : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
