Event Description

Embassy Review : My wife and I got there at the appointed time with our baby.We went thru security, passed the NOA to window 2 and waited. Within 20 minutes we were called in my an elderly gentleman. He was very friendly discussing all manner of things besides immigration stuff. We sat in his office for about 20 minutes. He asked my to verify her name, date of birth, where she was born and the other entries on the application. He then asked for her EAD, clipped it with a pair of scissors. Collected her passport and stamped a 1 year I551 in it. He told her to expect the regular card in the mail and she didn't have to apply for Removal of conditions in 2 years. Also to make sure she applies for her citizenship in 3 years and that was it. We were expecting a bunch of questions and we had a stack of evidence. It was not needed. On to citizenship now!
Harassment Level : Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
