It was very confusing as the lady officer misinterpreted my visa as being an already stamped visa, so she thought I was waiting for my green card and simply reentering on a stamped visa. I picked up my luggage and went out to the waiting hall in the terminal. Realizing I had no stamp on my visa I went to the Border & Immigration Office and the officer there went back inside to have my visa stamped. I feel like I just slipped into the US having had no questions asked. And this during a time when barely any visas are issued!
