20 minute line at preclearance, once I got to a desk with a CBP agent I told him I had a K-1 visa and he said “ooo don’t get those every day†and asked me a couple of casual questions: where I’m moving to, how long we’ve known each other and how we met. Turned out the agent went to university in our city so he gave me some recommendations of places to go for dinner.
After that, he took me to the back where there was a secondary waiting room. There was no one else waiting so it took all of 2 minutes for one of the agents there to open my envelope and look through the documents. I was called up and basically asked if I was travelling alone and when the wedding was. She informed me that I had to get married within 90 days or leave and sent me on my way. I had a 2 hour layover and was worried about making it but I had loads of time in the end 
The longest part of the process was the big queue in pre-clearance, where you wait with everyone else. Getting my k-1 stamped was really quick and easy, staff were efficient and friendly.
