I entered the VISITORS line at the airport (NOT ESTA) and retrieved the package to give to the officer. He understood immediately what I was entering on and asked me to tell him what the next steps were for me once I had cleared customs. I told him that I had to marry within 90 days and adjust my status. He said he was happy I had done my research. He took my photograph and only one hand of my fingerprints. He opened the envelope which contains the I-129F documentation and asked if my address was the same. I said no and he updated it from the customs declaration form. He told me that he would file the paperwork and said I was good to go. Total time: 5 minutes.
Also with the customs declaration, I wrote that I was emigrating to the US and put my total value on the items I was bring to $500. No-one said anything and I walked through to get my bags for my next flight to Portland, Oregon. My new home!
