I was a little worried after reading the previous entries regarding this POE. I even considered changing my husband's flight to Dallas or Fort Lauderdale. I'm glad I stuck with it.

He was, like most people, taken to secondary with a group of people mostly to just wait. The officer complained that there wasn't a lot of documentation in the packet, which he never really understood...he said the officer seemed frustrated with the packet, although now that all has been processed, including the Green Card, we aren't sure if he was speaking to a missing document, or if some things are included for convenience, but the CBP has to manually look up instead.

He was only asked one question: why did we get married in Iceland. Otherwise, the process was done without questioning or interviewing, just inputting the information. He got a stamp and was on his way.

I had settled in thinking that a Saturday afternoon would make for a long wait, but from when the flight landed to him walking out was right at one hour. Overall, it was easy enough. They wouldn't let him go through the Resident line with the packet.
