Dallas was really a breeze and everyone was polite and helpful I didn't understand the signs for which lane to go in so I asked the people standing directing people and they were like "oh! K1! Welcome!" and then they opened a lane for me where I immediately got to show my documents to a border officer, he took my documents and passport escorted me to "the office" a small room just a few feet away where some people were already sitting, waiting. A lot of them were Mexicans and I heard from conversations that some of them had waited a long time, and I started worrying about how long it would take. The officer gave my documents to the ppl in the office and told me to sit and wait. It was only about 15-20 minutes before my last name was called and I was given back my passport and could move on to go get my suitcases. (Which were already waiting for me). I arrived around 6:30-7.00 PM so I imagine the wait time will be depending on arrival time and how busy it is at the time, but the entry itself is nothing to worry about. They did not ask me a single question!
