Had a super easy experience at DFW. I flew in First with BA and was off the plane and through the airport quickly. Arrived at the immigration hall where I waved my documents folder at a long-suffering staffer intent on redirecting tourists to the ESTA automated gates (never needed again!) and proceeded to the CBP "visas" line. There was only one person in front of me so I was seen next. I handed the officer my sealed packet from the embassy along with my passport and customs form. He opened the packet, took out the paperwork, and then went through the usual fingerprinting/photo faff. We chatted amiably about the weather (Dallas had just been hit by a huge storm the day before) while he processed my entry - seemed real friendly and helpful. He then called to a colleague to do a "soft secondary" inspection on me (basically just check everything over to make sure he hadn't missed anything). I was directed to take a seat and wait for a few moments. A few moments passed and his colleague called my name - and simply handed my passport back with a K1 entry stamp in it. No questions! Thanks, Dallas.
