Arrived 30 minutes before scheduled appointment time and told to return in 20 minutes, returned and waited about 30 more minutes in the waiting area. Called by a nice interviewer and sworn in, asked for marriage license copy.. then asked about when my wife and when we met, her date of birth and other random questions about us. Melissa was asked similar questions, my mothers name when I got here, if any of us were married before.. etc. Asked if I knew my SSN which I quoted and displayed the card to the interviewer. We both displayed our Driving Licenses to the interviewer which were inspected; I was asked my home address and phone number. We were also asked to present documents showing we live together, bills, bank statements, lease agreement.. etc. never asked to see a pictures or any other documents.

The interviewer took out my I-94, left the cubicle and came back with a box, inside of which was a band spanking new I-551 stamp. I never did ask for the stamp, I forgot about it when I seen the I-94 coming out of the passport. Passport was stamped with a big red temporary I-551 stamp good for a whole year. We had reached the end of our journey!
