Our interview was at 1pm. Husband went in at 12. Was waiting outside in line until ~12:45. After going inside it was security checks (airport style). Then passport and IL were collected and he was given a token. Then he waited till he was called for documents.
Documents asked for:
-Marriage Certificate
-Birth Certificate
-National ID card
-1 passport sized photo
After that they took his fingerprints, this was done quickly. Then he waited ~an hour for the interview part. No further documents were requested but he was asked a lot of questions. He said it was more of a conversation than an interview and the interviewer was nice and made jokes. He was approved, he didn’t receive any papers but was told his passport would be kept for stamping and he should get it sometime after the weekend.
He came out at 2:30.

Questions asked:
-When and how did you meet?
-What is your job?
-What is your spouse’s job?
-Where does your spouse live?
-Will you also live in City, State?
-Were you married before this marriage?
-Was your spouse married before this marriage?
-Do you have any children?
-Does your spouse have any children?
-Do you have family in the US?
-Is this your first time going to the US?
-When did you get married?
-Where did you get married?
-How many times has your spouse come to visit?
-What kind of wedding did you have?
-Who came from the US to attend your wedding?
-What level of education do you have?

He went in with a file of just about every document we could think of in addition to all of the requested ones. However, they didn’t even ask for half of the things they required in the instructions email. Better safe than sorry I guess?
