Review Topic: Adjustment of Status

Our lawyer was allowed to enter the interview room with us, however because there were only two chairs in front of the interviewer, the lawyer stood next to us.
As soon as we made the oath, we were asked to submit I-693 medical exam.

Questions to the petitioner:
- How/where did you meet?
- What is your job? name of your company? start day of your work?

Questions to the beneficiary:
- What do you do?
- When did you come to the states? and have you ever left the country after your entry?
- What is the country of your current citizenship?
- Do you have more than one citizenship?

Questions to both petitioner and beneficiary (continuously asked 5-10 times)
- Where were you born?
- How old are you?
- What is the first/last name of your parents?
- When/where did you get married?
- When did you decide to get married?
- Have you ever been married before?
- Do you have any children in the states and/or abroad?

And he asked about 20+ security questions from I-485 form.

Things the interviewer took from us :
3 months pay stub (of the petitioner), mortgage statement, 2019 joint tax report, 2019 IRS report.

Overall the interview took about 40min-ish.
Saying that he is approving our case on the spot, the interviewer asked the address where we want to receive the green card.

Briefly 10 mins after we left the FO building, the case status updated as :
i-485 : New Card Is Being Produced
i-130 : Interview Was Completed And My Case Must Be Reviewed
