The building was very easy to find, everything was explained well. Waited in line for security, and then afterwards headed towards the main building where we bypassed the line and took and elevator up to the next floor. We went straight to the window with our number and handed in our documents. Marriage certificate, birth certificate, passport, courier information. He was very polite and just asked when I wanted to travel. He then told us to have a seat and await the interview.
Waited about 45 minutes and then got called to the window, this man was more stern and strict, sighed every 2 seconds, didn’t seem like he was having a very good day. He asked a few questions, where do you plan on staying, when do you plan on leaving? And then he asked about an incident on the police certificate that said under investigation and wanted to know an update on it.
He said everything looked good, he would be happy to approve the visa but he first wanted the incident to be resolved. So he gave us a 221g and asked that we get a final disposition and then update our police certificate and submit it when we’ve received these documents. So we’re in Administrative Processing currently, I guess things could be worse considering we wouldn’t of gotten NOA2 until a couple of weeks ago if it wasn’t for the k3 getting us approved early.
The guy we got was very serious and seemed stern but I’m not going to complain too much since he was just doing his job.
Now to just wait for the UK police to give us a court date. I will post updates when everything gets settled!
