LIVE from GUANGZHOU. Stayed at China Mayors Plaza hotel at LINHEXI station, 2 stops north of the ZHUJIANG XINCHEN (US CONSULATE) station. Cheapest 4 STAR hotel in the area. We were here 1 week to do both medical and interview.
Medical REVIEW

This was done on a Friday the week before the interview (next thursday). Report was to be picked up only on WEDNESDAY, day before Thursday interview.
Medical building is 2 buildings RIGHT of the B1 exit. Go to the 4th floor for registration and Report pickup.
Report is a White Sealed A4 envelope, a blue CD ROM (for POE use) and a Vaccination white small sheet (POE use).
INTERVIEW REVIEW

Appt was 750am. We arrived at 710am at exit B1 for ZHUJIANG XINCHEN Station and there was already a line of about 50 people like 30m away form the exit. We joined the line and peddlers start asking you to give them the bags for storage etc. At 730am, the police opened the gate and people enter to 2 separate lines..... non immigrant line will be directly 50m in front of entry while immigrant line will be about another 50 m AFTER the first line. (this is same for US citizen services line)
Guard announces 750am people, and the 750am appointees enter the next holding area where they check for Appt sheet and DS 160, then its to Xray and into the main building behind the holding area. Note that the holding area allows for storage of small bags - backpack too. At the gate, I left and waited at the medical building lobby cafeteria LUCKIN COFFEE (this is way nearer than the Starbucks that people often wait at)
She walked to the building behind, took the elevator to the 3rd floor. In the interview area, PART 1 has a Chinese staff collecting docs - DS 160, Appt sheet, I-134, Notorial paperwork. You are given a number and then you go to PART 2 interview area. Seat is like 2 m behind window and you can basically hear other peoples story. Interview CO was a senior looking Caucasian.

(then in Chinese - normal look) Really this year 2019? 2019? he asked 3 times with a stern look. "Yes"
(then in Chinese - stern look) Have you been to the US before - why - how long "Blah blah blah"
(then in Chinese - stern look) Do you have copy of previous visa? "yes"
(then in Chinese - stern look) Did you apply F-1 before? "Yes"
(SUDDENLY became English - stern look) Why was your F-1 declined - "No idea sir"
(stern look) what is your occupation - "blah blah"
Do you have old passports - (funny part was my fiancee heard wrongly and gave him my USA passport)
(SUDDENLY - big happy smiling face) - This is his passport? "Yes he is outside waiting for me"
(Smiling face) - Can your fiancee speak Chinese? "yes"
(Smiling face) - is he American or Chinese? "errrr what do you mean? he was originally from YYY country
(Smiling face) - What does he do? "blah blah"
(Smiling face) - Are you a communist party member ? " No"
(smiling face) - oh.. how did your fiancee immigrate to USA last time? "Professional Company sponsor"
(In Chinese - smiling face) - Approved.
She received a white Congratulations sheet (' ')
and she ran out like she struck the $M lottery to find me at LUCKIN COFFEE.
