Review Topic: K1 Visa

My appointment was at 1130 and arrived at 1100 on Friday, October 4, 2019.
I walked up to the Embassy and it’s absolutely beautiful.
From reading others reviews, we organized our documents accordingly from entry to interview.
I had my Proof of appointment with confirmation of DS 160
Those two documents get one through the security before going in.
After security and once inside the building, I went to front desk on bottom floor and they asked for the DS 160 and put stickers on it (the stickers will have your number in terms of when you’ll interview)
I than went to elevators to first floor and took a left and another left.
I than sat at the small waiting area and waited for my number to be on a screen.
The first time they called me up they took :
passport
ds 160
all financials including affidavit of support.
birth certificate
the passport picture -they scan it and gave it right back to me.

Then they had me sit back down and wait for my number to be called :
The second time I was sworn in and they asked just a few questions,
1. How I met her ?
2. When we met?
3. What my future goals are ?
But it was more like a conversation with a friend like others have said. I brought all extra documents such as original petition, proof of our daughter being born (b.c.), and my extra visit to the US during the petition to be their for Hannahs birth.
However, the CO never asked for any of it.

We had one red flag of twenty years age difference but was never brought up.
(it may have been because of years of visits, but can only speculate)
Approved and interview was maybe 5 minutes long.
They kept my passport and told me that I’ll have my visa within around two weeks.
My Visa was delivered and in hands within a few days.
Great Experience Overall 😊
