Everything is straightforward, as the previous reviews mention.
My interview was scheduled for 8:20, I got there at 7:45 and was interviewed by 9:30.
You get in, go to the area for Immigrant Visas, they give you some form to fill out (contact information of where you live in Brazil, your petitioner address and phone, where you are staying in Rio) and a list with the documents you are supposed to have with you. Most documents are the ones you already sent to NVC.

People say the photo is not necessary, but there was a woman there that the CASV didn't send the photo to the Embassy (I think because her photo didn't look good for their standards, something about her bangs being on her face) and she had to give some of the photos she brought, so it is always good to bring everything, just in case.

After checking the documents, you wait for the interview. Mine was extremely fast, she was nice and friendly and asked me: How I met my husband and when, how many times we saw each other, then she asked some specifics related to my case (I lived in the US to study). Then case was approved!
