Review Topic: K1 Visa

I travelled into London by car and parked at Westfield Stratford City for my 10am interview. Parking for between 3-14 hours is only £7.50 and the total tube cost was only £5.50 (Return) (Central line and Victoria line, from Vauxhall station the embassy is only a few mins walk.
I queued up in the line at the red (visa services) check point they checked my DS-160 and passport they signed the DS-160 and then told me to wait in another line to the side as I was early. 30 min before my appointment they allowed those waiting in my line through to the security check point. Security is like airport style security buy very quick and efficient.
When my document were checked I was advised not to queue up inside and to go straight to the front, the queue inside was very long and seemed slow moving, so I was fortunate I was able to walk straight to the front. They will ask to see the DS-160 again and then will print out and stick your ticket number on the form, I was then told to proceed to the first floor, turn left and left again and wait for my number to be called up.
I waited around 15min and my number was called up, at the window I was asked to hand over my passport, one US passport sized photo, DS-160, birth Certificate, police certificate, affidavit of support and a letter from my fiance employer (either the letter or last tax return), then they asked me a few question like if I have stayed in another country for longer than one year. They took my finger prints, then gave me a CD with my chest x-rays. I was then told all my documents were in order and to take a seat and wait for my number to be called again for the actual interview.
I waited for about 30 min and my number was called again, I was asked to swear an oath and was asked a few basic question
Questions I was asked:
- How did you meet?
- When did you last meet?
- How often have to met?
- Where does your fiance live?
- Where do you plan you live when you move?

That was it, I was told everything is in order for me to approve the visa, your passport will be posted to you in 7 days.

That was it, very straightforward, on the Ceac website the status changed to administrative processing the next day, the following day it changed to issued, today I had an email that my passport will be delivered tomorrow.
