Review Topic: Adjustment of Status

My appointment was scheduled for 2:45pm but since we were early the officer let us start the interview at 2:30pm.
After swearing us in, the officer verified the I-130 with my husband (US Citizen): asked about his job, his kids (they live with his ex wife), his previous marriage (why he got divorced).

Then he asked us to tell him how we met and who lives with us, so my husband and I just talked like it was a regular conversation and the officer just listened. I feel like we talked too much because both of us are very talkative, but the officer didn't mind, if he wanted to know something specific he just asked us to clarify. He was mostly interested in the timeline of our relationship.

After about 45 minutes of conversation (and lots of jokes from my husband, which the officer didn't mind) he asked me why I came in to the US (entered December 2013 on B-2 visa), asked about my previous marriage (why I got divorced), asked if I'm aware I listed my husband's children as my step children, and then went over the I-485 yes/no questions.

The interview lasted exactly an hour, but that's only because my husband and I wouldn't stop talking and joking around. The officer didn't ask for any evidence even though I brought a lot. All he wanted to see was our ID's, my passport and visa.
The officer mentioned at the end that he's new so he cannot make a decision at that moment, but we will get an answer in the mail within a week.
