Review Topic: K1 Visa

My appointment was at 10:45am, I went to the first security check on the outside of the embassy at 10:30am, then a lady put in order some papers : Passport, DS-160, medical and police certificate. After that there is a second security check where you have to leave your phone.

Once inside, there is a "visa" sign, got in line, only one person before me, and then went to the first window. In addition to the documents cited above, the officer asked me for my birth certificate and 2 pictures. He took my fingerprints and gave me a copy of my I-129F approved. Then he told me to go sit and wait for them to call my name.

I was called around 30 minutes later. The officer was extremely nice ! He asked me to raise my right hand and take the oath and also took my fingerprints again. He then started to ask me some questions, in french, I was surprised as I was ready to speak english with him, but all the interview was in french. Only a few questions :
- How did you meet your fiance?
- Have you ever been to the United States ?
- Where are you going to live ?
That's all, between each questions he spent some time typing on his computer and looking at my file, then he told me everything is good and that I will receive my visa within 10 days.

They didn't ask for affidavit of support (I-134), updated letter of intent or proof of relationship.
I was out at 11:45am.
