Got an appointment date/time for biometrics but it was right in the middle of a very important event I had planned, and rescheduling would've probably been missed too due to going on honeymoon...!
So tried my luck going in the Thursday before, parked ($8, unfortunately), and got fingerprints/photograph all completed within about 70 minutes. Pretty pleased!
Also, the appointment letter said "NO CELLPHONES" but clearer instructions inside the office states that cell phones are actually permitted in the building/general waiting area, though obviously no photos/video and no phone calls/using them whilst speaking to immigration personnel. Wish I'd known that before leaving mine in the car; would've made the 70 minutes go slightly quicker!
