Our interview was on February 1, 2019 at 7:00 AM at the Embassy of Santo Domingo, my fiancé came to accompany me to the interview from the USA.
I'm from Santiago we moved the day before to stay at the Hotel MicroCondo is 5 minutes from the Embassy, and so we can arrive on time.
The line was super long at 6 AM but, everything was fast, we were classified separately my fiancée Citizen showed his passport at the entrance and the appointment sheet. After we went through the check-ups process we went to the waiting room, when we entered the embassy a lady took us the results of the medical examinations, she uncovered them and asked for my passport, then she gave us a ticket and said to go sit between the window 18 to 28 and there we had a very kind Consul, while verifying our history and paperwork called us.
(My boyfriend and I dressed the same) Consul was surprised and said: wow! Is it the same shirt? There we broke our nerves and started talking to him.
He made us swear to raise our right hand, then asked my fiancé: Where did you meet? How many times are we in relationship? Where does my fiancé work? Have you been married before? Do they have children? What if I had gone to look for a visa some day and I said yes, he asked me what happened? I told him the whole truth, then he said ... I read his story and I have seen all his pictures and everything is fine.
Then he said: DO YOU HAVE INSTAGRAM? we said ... YES
He handed us a sheet to each one and a pen to put our users and he wanted to enter from the computer to see what we had on social networks, there our hearts cooled, my fiancé said ... If you want Mr. Consul I can give you our key to enter and the consul said no, it is not necessary, I just want to see what they have in their profile when it was both Instagram profiles we had Photos together and also our initials and Consul smiled, then said let me tell them that ... YOUR VISA IS APPROVED ... you will receive your passport from 8 to 10 working days in the Mai Boxes that you have selected.
We leave the emabaja jumping of joy to call our relatives
Everything was very fast from the NOA2 until the day of the interview
Note: Go relaxed, without nerves, trusting God and speaking the truth and everything will turn out well !!!
