Appointment was 9:30am. Arrived at 9am. They scanned my DS-160 outside security and asked me to come back at 9:15. As I was applying for K1(immigration) I would be able to skip the long queue and go straight to my appointment. I wanted about 30 minutes until I was called up to the first of 2 windows.

The gentleman was very friendly. He asked how I met my fiancé. I explained I was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day saints. And he was really fasinated by that. He took my documents. I handed him my police certificate and as it had "no live trace" on my certificate I also handed him a ACRO special access report. I basically got in a fight when I was 12 and recevied a reprimand. The officer said there's nothing to worry about as everyone gets on flights when they're 12. Honestly he made me feel so calm!

I waited another 15 minutes and then was called up to a second window. The woman interviewing me was very professional, little expression and asked me 2-3 times if I had ever got into trouble after this incident when I was 12 which I explained I hadn't. After asking a few question about where my finacé lives.

She looked up and smiled, congratulated me and said I would receive my visa in 7-10 days! 😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄

So excited to go be with my lass. ♥️

All the best everyone! Don't worry too much about the interview process. Just make sure you have all your documents and that you are COMPLETELY HONEST in your ds160 and interview.
