Had interview in Memphis, TN on 9/25 at 8:00 am. We arrived 45 minutes early, and there were already several people there waiting. The security and staff were wonderful, and really made an effort to put everyone at ease. We waited a bit and were called back shortly after 8:00 am. The IO was very nice and friendly. I brought a mountain of paperwork, but she only asked to see our passports. She said the file was in wonderful shape and the interview was just a formality. However, there was an issue with my wife's immunization form, as the doctor in Brazil checked the wrong box at the bottom! Oh no! But the IO gave us instructions to go see a civil surgeon and get the file checked correctly, and she even invited us to come back to the office to show her the completed form and she verbally promised us an immediate approval. We did just that, came back two days later, and the IO made good on her promise and approved us on the spot. She gave us an approval letter, passport stamp, and I received the 'card in production' notice about an hour later. I can't say enough about how pleased we were with the service from the Memphis field office. True public servants!
