We had our interview scheduled for Monday September 10th, at 1:45pm. We were there about an hour and a half earlier since I like to be early. (There is a very nice bistro/bar called "Baza" that is 2min walking from the embassy entrance where you can get some coffee or a bite to eat while you wait.)

at 1:40pm we walked up to the security in the front and went through the security procedure, my fiance was on the entry list since I emailed the embassy a few days before to let them know he will be accompanying me. The lobby was almost empty with just a few people who walked in behind us (The afternoon shift starts from 2pm to 4pm).

After getting our number, we sat down and waited 10min to be called to the first counter (counter 9), where an officer (Serbian) asked a few questions, took all of our paperwork (incuding the medical results) and asked us to sit back down.

15min or so later we went up to the second counter (counter 1) where we paid the interview fee (for Belgrade counculate you pay at the embassy), and were told to sit again.

5min later I had my fingerprints taken and sat back down, and another 15min later we were called in for the interview (counter 4)

The CO was pleasant and formal, he had all the evidence we gave (the affidavit of support, 2017 tax returns *we brought 2016 and 2015 just in case*, letter from the employer, w2, three check stubs, an updated letter of intent as well as the medical results as mentioned before.

He asked how we met, how do we keep in contact, he also noted my previous B2 visa denial in 2015 (I told him I tried to visit my fiance back then, which he assumed that was the case) and then he asked if we brought any pictures, at which point I handed the little "book" my fiance created from out two previous trips. He went through them in 20 seconds and commented that they weren't organized too well (because there was a lot of pictures I assume), then he asked what do we use to text (whatsapp) and asked if we brought in any evidence of that, so I gave him the 10 pages of chat logs we printed out, he seemed pleased with those. He asked also if we had any emails to show aswell, which I happen to have also, and he was very pleased with them since they went back from early 2015 (when we started talking) to now.

After going through that, he said that everything seemed ok and that he was recomending our application to be approved, and to sit back down again.

We were called back to counter 9 again, and given the reciept for the visa fee, and informed that once the administrative process ends (usually within a few days) they would give me a call to come back and pick up my packet and visa at the embassy.

After checking my CEAC status, it showed as Issued two days after, and in the afternoon I got a call from the officer on the counter 9 (I recognized his voice) to come and pick up my packet and passport the next day (he was extremely friendly and helpfull, and even asked if I prefered to come in the morning or the afternoon)

on September 13th I went in at 11am and picked up the packet/passport, was told I have untill Jan 30th 2019 to enter the US, and then 90 days to get married, and was wished the best of luck.

Overall, the experience couldn't have gone better.
