Showed up at the Consulate at 6ish am and no one was there so went to Tim Hortons a block up the road to get a drink and bite to eat and came back to no one being in line. First in line. Doors opened around 730am. Girl at the front put a sticker with my Loomis Reference ID on my passport. Proceeded to wait in the room wait for the elevator. Back of the elevator to floor 19,wicket 14 to get a ticket and got C2.Waited to be called for the lady at the window to take the information needed. Gave her my updated DS-230 as well as the original and a photocopy of my birth certificate, fiance's letter of intent as well as the I-134. Lady also took Medical results. The lady was very nice and kind. Then back into the seats to wait for the interview. To preface this I thought that it was going to be a formal interview with chairs, an interrogation room, etc. Got called up to window 8 where we got the lady with the dreadlocks. She asked some simple questions. After this, she stated she was approving the visa. It was very simple and it was a window between the CO and I. It was a very pleasant experience. Those who are doing this in the future have everything organized and ready to submit. If you are organized, have everything ready, and no red flags you should be fine.
