Very easy. Showed Customs my filled out form 3299. While he looked over that paper, Immigration took my fingerprints, ink stamped my I-551. Asked very few questions. Once they were done, back to the Customs guy, he said my paperwork was very good, and off I went. They never looked inside my U-haul
