He said he had his fingerprint taken and signed a paper, that was pretty much it. He said the man was very nice and told him he was finished and to go to his wife. Our flight arrived only 10 mins late into Atlanta despite an hours delay at Gatwick, I got off the plane as quickly as I could and went and stood in line for the first immigration screening. This was not enough time in her case, since there were many other people that needed POE processing. She missed her flight, but they gave her a later flight at no additional charge.
