They forgot to take my husbands "yellow packet" of info from the belizean embassy so I ended up having to call the airport and send it from California. I only sent it after hassling them to pay for the shipping costs lol....they finally agreed! always push for whatever you want, especially concerning matters that aren't your fault!

It took us ages to get through immigration, I think it was because of the terrorist threat given that we were coming from London (recent liquid explosives, if you remember), so we had to wait about an hour, to be taken to another room for another hour. The staff were friendly, and we have no complaints. Well, maybe one, hubbie was not told 'Welcome to America'...

My fiance speaks Spanish only. He was taken aside for an "interview" with an English-speaking official. This official spoke to him, appeared to get upset & then drew a line through my fiance's visa. He had thought that there was a date problem with the K1 visa that my fiance has (there was not).
The official then realized his mistake, re-wrote over an incorrect date that the official had already wrriten (scratching out the old one) in my fiance's passport & said he could go.
Now, there is a slashed line through the visa & a scribbled out date near the POE stamp. Somehow, I don't think this is what it is supposed to look like.

I was pulled aside to a waiting room. I waited for an hour, then someone spoke to me. Just asked the usual questions and then off I went. Would suggest DFW for anyone else. I think the guy on the original desk was new, hence someone else dealt.
