Couldn't believe that it took me 2 hours to clear customs and another 10 minutes extra when I went into the room to get my K1-visa cleared.

I arrived at JFK Terminal 4. Didn't get into any of the lines - I walked up to the CBP staff at the entrance and showed them the sealed envelope and said I was immigrating today.

Process was fairly quick and simple. Upon arrival at JFK, we moved towards immigration. There were various queues for US citizens and Permanent residents, and others for other nationals and visa persons.
