12:40pm - Arrived at the embassy for my 1:30pm appointment.. Tha guard asked us to queue at the parking area near the main entrance..
1:10pm - We were let in by five's, I was the third in line..I passed through the body scan and luggage belt, left my phone and charger with the security..I was given a number to claim my things upon leaving the embassy. Next was another security check just before the entrance to the building. Then they told me to turn left and take a queue number.
1:15 - I took my queue number 004 (top button on the queueing machine) and sat down. The room was more like a bank with chairs facing Windows 1-8.. It's all closed when I went in.. They started calling around 1:20pm..
I noticed that non-immigrant visa queue numbers are called quite faster, like 2-3mins apart... They were called in Windows 1-3... However, Immigrant Visa applicants were called at Window 7, 20-30mins apart...
1:40 - I was called at Window 7 by a nice chinese guy. He took my papers from their file and checked my on it.Then these are the things he asked from me:
---To pass him my passport, photo, letter of appointment and IC/Spass.
---How did you meet?
---What does your husband do? How long is he working there?
---He is a Filipino, how did he migrate to the US?
---Where do you both intend to stay on your arrival there?
---Have you been to the US before? Applied a visa before?
---How long have you been staying in Singapore?
---Do you have kids?
---Have you been married before?
---Has he been married before?
---Do you have pictures together? (Since I put my pictures together in several papers and put it in an album, he didnt take it from me and said just flip it when the consulate asked for it)
Then he returned my xray film to me and gave me 1) a paper to fill up for Aramex Courier delivery for my passport and instructed me to register online, and 2) a Document Submission Letter just in case the consulate will need further documents from me.
After that I waited..all along I was watching other people explaining and answering questions from the consulate. I can very well hear what was being asked from them and their stories from where I am sitting (I was sitting infront). On my left were the Non immigrant applicants in windows 1-3 and on my right are the IV applicant in window7.. Looking at the way people dressed, some are only in sandals and slippers, some just on shirt and jeans, some are in business casual (mostly the caucasian guys).. I dressed business casual and I guess it kinda helped because the consulate is observing people from their seats. I can tell because he keeps on glancing at us.. :D
3:40 - I was called by Window 6, the consulate. His name was Richard, an american. He basically confirmed details from me:
---Check the details on this paper (A computerized piece of paper with my personal details on it) and see whether all fields are correct in spelling and info.
---Then read through this (The last past of the DS-230), and if you agree, sign below.
After giving him the signed paper, these are what he asked:
---So you met your husband in 2010, right?
---And you got married in May 2011?
---How did you meet? Tell me about it.
---When was the last time you saw each other in person?
---And before that, when was the last meeting face to face?
---How did you communicate all throughout?
---Did you meet personally before getting married?
---What is your status here in Singapore? (Citizen/PR/workpass)
---How long have you been here in SG?
---What does he do in the US?
---And before that, what was his previous job?
---When did he migrate to the US? How?
---Before he came to Nevada, where did he stay? (California)
---Have you met any of his family?
---Where are his parents?
Then he said, "Well your papers are pretty much in good shape.. I guess that's all about it... And I said, "Seriously? You wont even take a look at this? (Pointing down to my folder full of picture collage, receipts, plane/hotel vouchers, remittances, cards, emails, phone bills).. I laughed because I told him I made it so nice and presentable and he wont even open it.. He smiled and said, "Yeah, I know you are very prepared for this interview but I guess I pretty much have all the info that I need"... I said, that's all? Alright then... thank you so much!
At 3:55pm, I was walking out of the embassy already, collected my phone from the guard and left.
4:20pm - Richard (the consulate) called me on my handphone apologising and asking for me to come back because he forgot to take my fingerprints, haha... So I went back in there, passed through the security check again and laid my fingers on the scan...But before I left, I asked Richard whether I have to pay for the US$165 Immigrant Visa fee.. He said I will have to pay it online when I already receive my passport in approximately 5 days...
Well that's it... He never directly said that I passed, but judging by all his instructions to me (e.g. packet will be sent, sms will be received) and considering that he has all the documents needed from me, well I guess I have a positive vibes on it... We'll just find out and I'll update you all!

Interview was pretty quick, in and out in less than 2 hours.
Very standard/simple questions, it would be no problem if you knew your fiancee well. With is easy because you wouldn't be applying for a visa to marry someone you didn't know!

Interview was easy, however got a 221g worksheet as i didn't have the sponsor and co-sponsor's income tax return for 2011.
Submitted the scan income tax by email. 2 working days later,I got a email reply to send my passport to the embassy. Still waiting for them to send back my passport. Hopefully with the visa in it
