They were completely rude, coniving, idiots. Intentionally delayed us because I dared to voice my frustration about how crooked and unfair they are. Did I leave out incompetent!!!!!!! Had to have US Senator Jim Talent intervene on our behalf. He was AWESOME!!!! Visa granted on second appearance. MORONS!!!!!!

My interview was slated for 7:30 am, and I was supposed to have my core exam at school for 8 am on the same date. I went to the embassy to make enquiries about if i could change my interview date, the security guards would even let me talk to no one, i went home feeling bad and worried about what would happen to my education; i was indeed in a dilemma. i decided to go for the interview and be absent for my exams, which automatically would mean extra year for me at school.
I got to the embassy at exactly 7:20 am, waited on the queue till like 8:30 am, I was urshered in, later they took my documents and I was asked to sit down. I sat down until 5 pm before I was interviewed! God! i felt like cursing someone or even beating someone up for them making me miss my exams when they knew they would be this slow.
after the interview, I was asked to come back 8am anyday of the week with some info from the IRS. I did again on my own convenient date, and the same drama happened, i waited till past 6pm in the embassy. i was practically the last person to be interviewed. Again i didnt get the visa, and was asked to come with some more job information from my fiancee.
I went there on a date I was given which was about 3 months away. This time i went late intentionally because they wasted my time all this while, i thought i had to retaliate in my own little way. I got there by 10 am instead of the 7:30 am stated on my appointment letter, and the security guards told me i was late and that i couldnt go in. I started begging, no one listened to me. when I almost started to cry, someone came out saw my little tears, asked what my problem was, i told him, and he warned me never to be that careless again, and i was allowed in.
After the same 'time wasting routine', I presented the documents. This time I got the visa.
If I didnt get it, God knows i could have done something crazy because my studies was messed up because i wanted a visa.
This embassy to me is one very harsh one, i mean not primarily as regards my own case, but to other people whose interviews I witnessed.

This is a very sneaky consulate. My advise, have all of your eggs in a row and all in one basket... lol. Make sure your are organized. That is one of the main things...
