Ok,so we got there at about 7:00am for our 7:30 and 8:00am appointment(me and my daughter)We proceeded through the airport type security and into the courtyard. Hubby came along and was allowed to wait on us in the courtyard. As everyone said before the numbers are not called in order. Our first trip to the window was for finger prints and collection of medical. The lady asked if i had any docs for them and i said well i have 2010 tax papers dont know if u will need these and she said \"oh yes..good\" (they were never requested but thanks to VJ i got them just in case. Second trip was about 20 mins later swear in and interview. It was a nice white man about in his late 30\'s. Questions:

When did you meet
Who hit on who first
when was his first visit

Review Topic: K1 Visa

My fiance' arrived around 8:30 am for his 9 am appointment. As he stood in line out the embassy, one of the CO's came around to check paperwork and pointed out that some info was missing from one of the forms. He called me in a panic and was so upset I had to tell his cousin what to put on the form LOL. Fast forward to 4 1/2 hours later, he calls to tell me he was approved and will have to come back to Kingston in a week or two to pick up his visa, he lives to far in the bush for DHL I guess LOL.

He was first called up to the window to do his sworn statement and then they told him to sit back down. Then he was called back up and they asked if we went on vacation when I come to Jamaica, what was the name of the hotels that we stayed at. Did I eat fruit, did I drink fruit juice? Did he have any relatives in the US. How often did we talk and how often did I send him money. They never looked at any of the pictures or cards I sent to him. He said they asked him a whole heap of questions more than once, they kept changing how they asked but he was so prepared.

Then they told him he was approved and when to come back to pick up his visa.

The interview journey begins. Appt. was for 8:00 am get their at 7:30… went in…. did not have to join the line for the regular visa inter. Turn in medical and get fingerprinted. Wait for number to be called.

interview ????
Where did you meet him.
Where was he born.
When did he migrate.
Where do he live.
Was he married before.
Were you married before.
Why did not stay in the us and file after marriage.
Do you have any children.
Do he have any children (she knows and interact with my son).
How old is son.

During the questioning he was already canceling 10 yr.
Did not ask to see any of the docs or pictures she brought to the interview.
She tried to exchange original birth cert, was told the original has to stay with package. Will get it when you get package (we are not looking forward to getting it back).
Done before 11:00am (3Hrs).
Interview was ok.

Went to the dhl clerk …everyone before her was getting date for return of visa . she was told she could not get a date for hers but within 2 wks. Told them she will pick it up.

Did see a lot of blue sheet handed out.
One person she talked to …they told him he had to pay $400 US. He did not have it to pay.

It’s not an easy journey. Good luck to all!!
