Interview went perfectly fine! I got there at 1pm, got a ticket and started waiting. After 20 mins I got called to a window, the lady took my ticket and my appointment letter. After 10 mins, another window and the lady took all my documents and fingerprints, she was very nice. They both talked to me in French.
I had to wait again for 30 mins. The last lady was the Consul officer and spoke English. She was friendly, made me sign 2 documents, ask me how Brandon and I met, when do we plan on getting married, what does he do and what do I do for a living. That was it! She said "everything is ok, you'll received your passport in 10 days".

Was a great experience!
I was at first really stressed about it since I got the appointment letter on a saturday for an appointment on the next wednesday, so I had to prepare my trip to paris, get days off work, buy tickets....
But, I can say that at the embassy, even if everything is impersonnal, it went fine.
I was first called at a window to give my ticket number and my appointment letter, than call again at an other window to do paperwork, giving the filled forms, signing some, giving the envelopp, taking the fingerprints...
And last time I was called, at the consular officer window, who asked my if I prefered english or french, and since I said that I did not care, we spoke in english. After some simple questions about how I met Mark, she just told me "your visa is approved, congratulations"!!!
the next saturday I got my passport back in the mail with the visa inside!

When we arrived at the embassy it was something like 12:40.
The guard at the entrance asked us to wait a few cause it was too soon.
After 2 mn as it was rainy, windy and cold, he said.
My co-workers will ask if you can enter inside right know cause you're with a young girl.
SO. We was able to enter 2 mn after that.
The guards who was looking the bags was really nice and they was joking with my daugther.
Inside the embassy we got our waiting ticket, number A103.
I was checking the panel all the time but for 2 mn was not checking cause I was taking care about my daugther and i saw on the panel number A104, and after that A105, and A106... Richard get another ticket at the machine A107. And we was call at the first window.
The lady was really nice and just asked for the appointment letter and if we had all the required documents. I answered yes. And she asked us to go back to wait.
After a few we was called at the same window. Same lady+ another one. She started to ask all the documents. It took a long time cause she was teaching the other lady. So, they was spending a lot of time at every document 'cause she was explaining what it have to be really good checked.
Both was really nice.
At the end she asked me if she doesn't forget to ask me something and then ask us to wait again.
After a few again we was call to another window. It was the consul officer, he was looking just so young. He just asked Richard about what exactly does his company, asked me to sign the documents and said : you're approved.
OMG!!! It's done!
They never asked us about our relationship or stuffs like that.
It was just like an administrative check. Not more and everyone was nice.
When we went back to have back our cellphones and stuffs it was the same guards and they was asking my daughter if it was not too long etc...
So i will say more than nice it was friendly!

I arrived at the embassy a little bit earlier, but waited 12h45 before trying to enter. There was already someone waiting, and after 2 mns, he checked my passeport and appointment letter, and let us come in.
Then, they checked my purse, and my other bag with all my forms. They kept my car keys, and some medications I had.
I went take a ticket, and waited in the room. There were like 20 windows, but half of them were actually open.
The room was filled with like 50 persons, and had a B number. Mine was an A number.
I waited 25mns before I got called at the first window. The lady gave me a huge smile, and asked for my appointment letter and the little part of my ticket. She told me to take a seat, and I will be called again.
Only 15mns later, I am called at the 2nd window. She asked all my forms (+ DS 157 even if it was for men, but I had it ready anyways! )
She took my fingerprints, passeport, chronopost letter, went trough all my forms and made me sign them. I even only needed the tax return of 2007 of my fiancé (I only had one tax return from him and was worried about it, but I also had a co-sponsor). She told what I had was enough (I-134,1 tax return and his last paystubs). I went back to my seat.
I waited a little bit longer this time(like 45mns), and went to the 3rd window.
The lady asked me if I wanted to speak in French or in English.I answered her in English. She asked me different questions like when, how did we met.Where does he live? Where do his parents live? While I was answering, she was checking my forms, and never asked for more proofs. She then asked me if he came in France, and when was the last time I saw him. I told her, "April 8th!", and she had a smile at me.
And, finally she looked at me, and said "your visa is approved.Congratulations to you both!"
I was so happy and said thank you very much, and left the room with a huge smile on my face!
I spent 2 hours even in the embassy. It was really easy, and basiclly they only looked at the forms needed, and I came back home with a LOT of documents not needed anymore!
The 3 ladies who took care of my case, were all really nice, and made me feel comfortable.
Good to know also, for the ones driving to the embassy, there is a VINCI undergroung parking right across the embassy!!
