Consulate took like 28 days(after receiving my file from NVC) to send me packet 3
It's very hard to contact the embassy for interview, I have been calling the phone number they gave on packet 3 in vain.
hope they will finally pick up.
My fiancee still have to make an appointement and go to interview.
Packet 3 is basicaly the list of forms you need for interview.
you gathered all the required document, call the embassy to set up appointment, and do medical exam(as recomended by consulate) 2 weeks prior to interview date.

This is what my husband had to say:

My interview was a smooth one. It started this way. My appointment was at 9 am and I got to the embassy at 7:20 am at which point security already told everyone to start going in. I got in line and followed everyone else. The first security search took place after which I was asked if I had a phone to give at the counter and a number was issued. Then security tells me to put my bag of proof on the scan machine which I did, but she didn't tell me to take everything out of my pockets when I was passing through. The scan alarms and the security lady tells me to come back at which point she asks if I have a wallet? I say yes I do and she tells me to drop it there. I did as she asked and the same alarm goes off. She tells me come back sir, with all this added to my nervous nature, I asked her why she didn't tell me to put everything in the box in the beginning? I continued down to the main hall where I get another security person asking what kind of visa I came for then she gives me a number and says okay now just wait to be called. Next she points to where everyone has to go and pay their fees and if your fees have been paid, your payment confirmation will be checked. Later on a black American lady calls me and asks for the proof of marriage which I had lots of. She could see that I came very prepared and her eyes got so big lol!!! Then she took my digital fingerprints and told me to go and sit down. I sat for maybe 10 minutes until my number was called on the speakers and I thought maybe there was a problem with the fingerprinting. The woman says no sir go to box 6 where I met with a consular officer. When I got there she was so friendly and once she started speaking to me I was getting so nervous. She told me to raise my right hand and to swear that I was speaking the truth. It was kind of a friend to friend chat between me and the C.O. She was so nice the way she asked questions and smiled while we talked. Here are the questions she asked me.

Whats your wife's name?
How did you meet?
Did you get married traditionally or in court?
Any of your wife's relatives still alive?
Has your wife been married before?
How many children?
Does she have any brothers or sisters?
Where do they live?
How many children does your wife have and how old are they?
Do you communicate with them?
Did you get married to her for immigration purposes?
Who are those in the pictures?
Seems she gets along with many of your friends?
When did she come to Cameroon?
How long did you know each other before getting married?
How long have you been together?
How often do you communicate with your wife per week?
What does wife do for a living?
Where does she work?
Can you explain how she got her job?
How long has your wife been living at her present address?
Where do her parents live?
Is your wife a Christian like you?

I was already freaking out. But it didn't bother me because I felt like I was having a conversation with a friend. While asking the questions she kept on typing on her computer. After she asked the last question she returned my photo album along with other proof that I had given to her. She then continued to type for maybe 8 mins. I stood there with no response and was getting more tense. Then she raised her head and looked at me for awhile and said, well everything about you is good so you can come back next week on April 18th to pick up your visa. She said you are approved. I felt at that point like I was going to fly. I told her thank you and I asked if I could get her name for future reference as the VJ question guide says but she said no thanks sir.

Atlast i will be joining my wife
THANKS TO ALL VJers!!!
BIGUP to you all.

P.S. My advice goes to those using lawyers. I think during this whole process they were of no use to us because we paid lots of $$$ for an immigration lawyer who really just served as a post master and not a lawyer. They might be of importance later but I don't think throughout this process we needed them. It was just waste of money.

THANKS ONCE AGAIN
MR AND MRS AJ.................
AT LAST THE LORD ANSWERED OUR PRAYERS
ALL IS WELL!!!

This is what my husband had to tell me:
It was easy and fun to go through the interview. No problems at all. It was smooth and the CO was very pleasant.

This is what I have to say:
They asked him alot of questions. Many more than I expected. Questions that were emotionally engaging like, "is this your biological son?" My response would have been, "did you not see the birth certificate?" ... I felt these questions were very well planned in advance with the intent to catch a person up. So if you are lying or not prepared it would be very difficult.
He was there for over 3 hrs! And this is the 2nd interview because the first one was re-scheduled since they couldn't locate his file.
Now we wait until next week for him to pick up his visa!

My interview went very well yesterday 19th march 2013
I got to the embassy at abt 8am . My interview was scheduled for 8am.
First security did a bag and body scan. Next I went down to the consular section.
There, the security gave me a number which was the order in which we were called up.

Next the first call was to return the medicals to them. The guy asked me to open it, I did, then gave it to him. He returned the cd of chest x-ray which was inside to me. My fees were a
Ready paid but this is the point where those who hadnt paid did so.
Then I went back and sat.

Next call was for finger prints. At this point, I was also asked to hand prove of my relationship to them.I submitted about 150 pages of my Skype conversations with hubby, 4 western union receipts from hubby since december till now, 5 email print outs and About 90 pictures of hubby and me.

Third and final call was the interview proper.
The lady asked my profession and I told her,
Next she asked me wht I've been doing nice 3 months ago that I returned from abroad.
Finally, she asked me if I was going to take the US boards exams to work there and I told her yes.
Then he is he'd me good luck in my studies nd a happy marriage.
She said my documents, look ok to her so she will just o ahead and approve my petition.
Then she gave me a yellow slip which had the date I'll return to pick it up (28th march) and time (4pm). Overall,it was pretty straight forward.
