Seattle, is the fastest and best CIS office in the country the interviews are easy,fast and gets at least 95% approval, spent less than 10 minutes questions and was out,didn't get a stamp, but received green card 1 week later or les, best state to Adjust,took 3 months from beginning to end, could have been faster, I had 2 RFEs

My husband and I went for my Green Card interview on August 7th 2008, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Our appointment was for 0830am at Seattle, WA. We arrived at 0745am, and had no problem getting through security and to the interview waiting area. As the time approached I was getting a little nervous, but believe it or not, ten minutes before our interview time the fire alarms went off and the whole building had to be evacuated. Waiting outside with everyone relaxed me as we couldn't believe this was happening and people could only laugh about it. As the alarms stopped we were allowed back into the building, and by the time we went through security again we heard our names being called so we had to run up the stairs making sure we didn't miss our appointment. As soon as we met the women who would be interviewing us, we were immediately comforted as she was so pleasant and funny. We sat down in her office and she asked for our passports. We had our appointment at 8:30am.. went into the office at 8:45am..... and we came back out at 9:00 am....
It was very easy and not like i thought it would be .... the Officer was nice and polite and asked firt the usual questions.
If I ever had problems with the law and so on.. than she asked us where we meet and wanted to see proof of our relationship...we showed her voided Checks, Pictures of the wedding,asked who are the people were.
Than she advised us that the Green Card will be in the Mail in about 5 till 10 Day....
That's it !!

I went to the Seattle CIS office for my biometrics appointment on February 25, 2008. I had to wait for 2 1/2 hours before I was actually fingerprinted. Aside from the very long wait, the staff was polite and helpful.

Very easy interview, made copies of tax return and took a voided check as proof of our co-habitation/marriage. Just asked a few questions including the polygamy question and was very nice.  Entire interview as approx 10 mins.
