My husband and I arrived to our CIS Office located in Seattle, WA, half hour early, we wanted to have time to relax and of course be ahead on time to be sure we wouldn't miss the appointment.
Everything was smooth all the offices were very friendly, BUT we got interviewed for a Asian-american officer and that was the most stressfull interview in my whole journey, and I have to say this: I DON'T HAVE ANYTHING AGAINS ASIAN-AMERICAN PEOPLE, but her english was very hard to undestand, her pronunciation was kind of confusing that even my husband, who's born and raised in USA, wasn't able to understand her, and that was VERY VERY stressfull because we had to asked her to repeat the questions because we didn't understand her and we didn't want her to think that we were faking.
At the end everything was fine and thank God I got approved.

Overall, he had a great experience with the Seattle branch.
Our IO was super nice and laid back - it was an easy interview.
As for the questions - he mainly went over all the information from K-1 and AOS to verify our names, DOB, maiden name, father's & mother's name, etc.
After that, he asked
How, where, when did you meet? How long were you together? (both)
How did you keep in contact? (both)
How did you propose? (P)
Where do you live now? Do you live together? (both)
When and where did you get married? How many guests did you have? Who were your witnesses? (both)
Do you work? Where do you work? Are you in school? (B)
Where do you work? What was your last job? (P)
Then, he only asked for a few documents such as insurance papers etc. We gave him copies of our jt bank account statements, phone bills and many pictures (I made a crapbook for him to look at and copies of all pictu... read complete review

I just submitted the review yesterday about the Seattle office, I did not get an answer at the interview but was told to wait for an official letter in the mail in about 2 weeks, however just checked the USCIS website for my case status and it said "Document Production" yayyyy!!! Just 1 day after the interview that is! Good luck everyone!!

Ok I would like to give my review for the Seattle office since this page has been very helpful to me during the process, and maybe it will be helpful to someone else going through the same process. This was for an AOS interview through marriage. A little background...I came to the country on J-1 (exempt from the 2 year) in 2000 for high school exchange program(senior year), my visa expired right after HS and about the same time got accepted to college. Did not leave the country with my new I-20 issued from the college since had been out of status for 2-3 months and was almost certain that they would not issue me an F-1 visa, so basically stayed out of status throughout college. To make things worse I got my passport stolen, but luckily I had made photocopies of the J-1 and I-94. Last year I got married with my college girlfriend and we applied for AOS.
Submitted I-485, G-325A, I-330 and about a month later a I-102 for my stolen I-94, just to clarify it we did not use a lawyer t... read complete review

Once we finally got into the interview, they were running behind by 2 1/2 hours, the officer was very friendly and helpful. She said the 485 would have been approved that day, but we didn't have our divorce records from 23 years ago. But overall, very helpful.
